In this Fall Icon Offering feature, the 2019 single-vineyard Cabernets highlight the depth and structure of each site under the guidance of Brittany Sherwood, winemaker at Heitz Cellar. The Martha’s Vineyard Cabernet features notes of concentrated fruit and mint with a deep, intense hue. The Linda Falls Vineyard Cabernet offers notes of dark, dense fruit and structured tannins, while the Trailside Vineyard Cabernet, from Joe Heitz’s favorite block, features notes of blackcurrant, cherry, and subtle vanilla-dusted tobacco.

@heitzcellar has long defined Napa Valley Cabernet, crafting wines that evolve beautifully over decades. Every vintage carries the mark of Joe Heitz’s pioneering spirit, combining meticulous vineyard care with the distinctive character of Napa’s premier sites.

In this Fall Icon feature, the Legacy Collection highlights several distinct vintages, each reflecting the unique conditions and character of its year. The 1988 Bella Oaks, from a cool, misty season and an early harvest, shows redcurrant, black cherry, and mint. The 1990 Martha’s Vineyard offers eucalyptus, black cherry, and cassis, with subtle notes of dried orange rind. From 1999, Trailside Vineyard delivers red roses, blackcurrant, and cocoa. Finally, the 2009 Martha’s Vineyard features balanced tannins, vibrant acidity, and concentrated fruit, exemplifying the vineyard’s timeless elegance.
