@trailsidevineyard is a single-vineyard Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon created by Carlton McCoy Jr. MS and Jeremy Seysses of Domaine Dujac. With the inaugural 2022 vintage, they crafted a terroir-driven wine that honors Napa Valley’s glory days of the 1960s and 1970s. In classic Dujac style, Seysses incorporated whole clusters and a submerged cap in fermentation, a calculated risk that brings precision, depth, and balance to this historic site.

Sourced from a pedigreed vineyard on Rutherford’s east side, once a source for Heitz Cellar, the 2022 Trailside Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet, farmed, harvested, and fermented according to each of its seven soil types, and aged across barrique and foudre to reveal its full complexity. A break from tradition, this wine offers a fresh perspective on Margaux and its potential for Merlot. Sourced from select vineyard blocks rooted in blue clay-limestone soils, the nature of this terroir allows Château Lascombes to craft an unexpected expression that is distinctive and showcases a true sense of place. After nearly thirty years managing Domaine de Mont

After nearly thirty years managing Domaine de Montille, his family estate in Burgundy dating back to the 1730s, Étienne de Montille sought new horizons in crafting Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. In 2016, he and American winemaker Brian Sieve toured the US Pacific Coast in search of cool-climate terroir, combining their experience to create wines of purity and transparency in California’s Sta. Rita Hills. Winemaker Ryan Hannaford now joins the team, and together they make terroir-driven, elegant, and balanced wines. @racineswine marks Étienne and Rodolphe’s first venture beyond France, uniting the best of Burgundy, Champagne, and California.

The 2025 Fall Icon Offering highlights the 2022 vintage: La Rinconada Vineyard Pinot Noir, from the upper plantings with deep, rocky soils; Sanford & Benedict Vineyard Pinot Noir, a combination of three parcels including old vines and Block 13’s own-rooted plantings; Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir, a blend from several vineyards along Santa Rosa Road, capturing the region’s diversity; and Sainte Rose Pinot Noir, sourced from well-established vineyards including Sanford & Benedict, La Rinconada, and Rancho La Viña.
